It seems to be a good all-purpose E string with a warm tone. What's the difference between a Viola player and a dressmaker? If an instrument tends to have a bright sound you can mitigate this with strings having a warmer sound and, vice versa, if an instrument has too a dark sound this can be corrected by using strings with a brighter tone. The main differences are the sizes of the instruments and how high or low each instrument can sound. Especially after having used the Tungsten wound C it seems giant. He loves the way they sound and I have to agree with him, they make his lower register very dark and ominous, and his higher strings have a sweet sort of brightness but doesn't sound shrill or obnoxious. ALBANESI, Sebastiano, is said to have lived at Cremona; his work is almost unknown, 1720-44. They are professional grade Strad models, both 5 years old and in excellent condition, and have been professionally valued in London by Stringers at �4,000 each. It is used occasionally in music for other instruments, however. We also carry many traditional European instruments. Unfortunately, the reason I am looking for one of the larger violas is because I am rather tall, and a larger viola would fit me better. I think I will order all his certificate and AMusA music from you. The laud is made like a guitar, with a flat back. A string arranging technique we'll be using a lot here is divisi, which is dividing a section of the strings into multiple parts. If you get an instrument from a catalog or over the web and the bridge is not set up when you receive it, BEWARE!
